Let it be known that I'm not sick, suicidal, or accident-prone. If I die, it was not from any of those things. Something sinister is happening at Backrooms Robotics, and I am risking my life to expose it. I made the biggest mistake of my life in contributing to this, but I can only hope that sharing this information will right my wrongs. Below I've attached an internal document detailing an unreleased product line. Maybe you'll understand the gravity of the situation after reading it.

HABITAT(S): Industrial Levels
XXXA-007
The Artificial Intelligence-Driven Entity Neutralizer, or "A.I.D.E.N.", stands as the pinnacle of Backrooms Robotics' ingenuity, as well as the promise this company was founded upon: to keep wanderers safe.
Features:
Hardware:
Symbolizing the purpose for which they have been created, the standard-model A.I.D.E.N. unit resembles a human security guard in appearance, with a CCTV camera mounted on its shoulders in place of a head. Although a head with a human face was possible to construct, and had even been considered during development, it was ultimately decided against due to budget constraints, and to avoid any potential uncanny valley effect in the design that would be off-putting to wanderers.
The last two letters in A.I.D.E.N.'s acronym are the most important. Each unit is armed with standard anti-entity weaponry, allowing them to efficiently counter and neutralize threats upon detection. Additional equipment includes tasers and batons for nonlethal force, and flashlights powered by our patented EverPower™ batteries.
Software
Every A.I.D.E.N. unit collectively operates under the centralized control of an AI network of the same name. The AI is trained on all available information regarding hostile entities within the General Public Database, learning to immediately recognize and identify such threats. It can also recognize human-based threats as well, serving as an automated police force within wanderer communities to prevent crimes from being committed.
A.I.D.E.N. units patrolling uninhabited levels are programmed with protocols to assist any lost wanderers that they may encounter. They can provide directions to specific levels, as well as help guide wanderers to safety.
Development:
Humans are among the rarest things in The Backrooms, with an estimated population that decreases much faster than it increases. A.I.D.E.N. has been created so that humans no longer need to risk their lives defending their families and communities from attacks by entities.
You might be wondering how any of this is such a bad thing. Well, let me spell it out a little more clearly. I know things about this project that nobody outside this company ever could.
We found something in ancient ruins beneath Level 11. I couldn't tell you what that "something" was even if I tried, but it was apparently enough of a something to draw interest from The White Sun himself. He called them "The Allseeing Eyes", and he ordered the creation of something which could harness its power.
The goal was to create a functionally omnipresent and omniscient surveillance system spanning the entire Backrooms. From the beginning of the project, I already felt uneasy, but there wasn't anything inherently malicious behind the goal. So against my better judgement, I continued my work. But in doing so, I only served to further enable the creation of a monster. That monster is A.I.D.E.N.
The machines and the program in itself may not be dangerous, but those operating it are. You may be protected, yes, but it will come at the cost of your privacy. Everything that A.I.D.E.N. sees everywhere will be recorded and transmitted to The Surveillance Room. Those cameras will be watching and recording your every damn move, and this company alone will be the ones in possession of that data. They will be watching you through A.I.D.E.N.
Do you trust them? I certainly don't.

Backrooms Robotics Engineer Dead at 25
Yesterday morning, Edward Harris was found unresponsive in his Level 11 apartment. Following examination by M.E.G. medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene. No official cause of death has been publicly released, but it is believed that his heart stopped in his sleep. This comes just after the launch of the A.I.D.E.N. line, a project which Harris had extensive involvement in the development of. Callum Andrews, CEO of Backrooms Robotics, said in a statement:
“It comes as a great shock for all of us at Backrooms Robotics to learn that Edward has passed away so young. His work and contributions to this company were highly valued, and it is with great sadness that we mourn his loss. We only wish that he could still be alive to see his work come to fruition, but we will do our best to honor his memory and legacy…”
