Beliefs

"Jerry is everything."

The Followers of Jerry are a religious cult in the Backrooms of both humans and entities that worship "Jerry", a blue macaw parrot who they consider to be a God-like figure. Those who have been indoctrinated into the group by coming into physical contact with the bird claim that touching Jerry has allowed them to understand that Jerry is "everything" and that Jerry is what they must live for. Those on the outside call them brainwashed.

Whatever the case is, The Followers worship Jerry tirelessly and confidently believe that it is of the utmost importance to indoctrinate new members into the group. Led by Father Bluebird, The Followers have established outposts in a variety of levels throughout the Backrooms with the goal of spreading the word of Jerry and indoctrinating those they can into their cult.

Jerry is treated by the Followers as a God, but those who aren't indoctrinated look at him and just see a blue macaw parrot. Jerry's origins and the extent of his abilities are unknown.

Father Bluebird:

"Father Bluebird be with us."

Father Bluebird is the leader of the Followers of Jerry. He's so close to Jerry that the parrot can occasionally be seen riding on his shoulder. Bluebird is usually seen wearing blue robes to represent his undying devotion to Jerry.

Sinclair Beckett

"I used to believe there was no hope here, but Jerry found me and showed me the way."

Despite her casual attire, Sinclair is one of the most infamous members of the Followers of Jerry. Known for her manic personality and radical devotion to Jerry, Sinclair has led many attacks on the M.E.G. and other groups. She's often seen drinking a strange black liquid, though the properties of this liquid are unknown.
