Description

Level 369, also known as The Sunken Hull, resembles a wrecked ocean liner from the late 1930s1 floating in a small body of water. Despite the vessel’s condition, it floats by itself unsupported, with only the lower decks flooded. The vessel itself is named the “S.S. Magpie” by The Harbor Master and so henceforth shall be referred to as such.

The interior is incredibly empty and barren, as most of the walls and amenities are missing. Despite this, there are little to no traces of dirt or dust, due to The Harbor Master’s frequent cleanings.

The vessel is heavily rusted, and it is common to encounter pealing lead paint or exposed asbestos. Due to this, caution is advised while exploring the vessel.

The Magpie floats within a circular body of water with a diameter of approximately 300 meters (984 feet.) Outside is an even larger expanse of sand. In total, the level is approximately 1000 meters (3280 feet) in diameter. The edge of the level is a solid wall with a fake sky painted onto it, forming a dome around the level.

Entities

No entities are known to reside in Level 369. The waters surrounding the Magpie are devoid of life just like the barren sand. The only constant resident of the Magpie is its self-proclaimed captain, The Harbor Master. However, on occasion, The Game Master may broadcast her standup routine to a CRT on the main stage, which is seemingly specially set up by The Harbor Master.2 Not only is she incredibly unfunny, but the only crowd at these showings are plushies in plastic folding chairs.

Additional Information

The Harbor Master is very protective over the Magpie. Damage caused to it by wanderers may result in the offender being forced to ‘walk the plank.’ The plank is located on the forecastle on the port side. Offenders will not be allowed back onto the ship, and sneaking back aboard will result in more drastic measures from The Harbor Master.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  1. Finding a steel watertight door leads directly to the lower levels of the Magpie.
  2. Some wanderers have reported passing out on Level 7 and ending up in the sand of Level 369.

Exits

  1. Multiple exit doors can be found on the edge of the level, usually up a set of stairs.
  2. Some doors in the lower decks of the S.S. Magpie lead to Level 2 and Level 3.
